This spot is a must-go for anyone travelling to Ossetia!

The Alania park is located in the south-west of North Ossetia, in the region called Digoria. Digors is a sub-ethnos of Ossetians who have their own Ossetian dialect (the only one currently existing besides the main Ironian).

This area has many spectacular waterfalls and nature views. First waterfall to observe was Bairadi. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the whole way up due to my breathlessness. :')

All things considered, even on the approach to this waterfall the views are beautiful

The next is 30-minutes walk to another waterfall, Galdoridon (what did it remind you and why is it medicine?) The trail is lovely.

That's a short river falling into Terek, one of the main Caucasian rivers. Its origins are not that far up here, as a merge of two other rivers.
