Really colorful canyon, featuring even purple!
It was a pain in the ass to figure out, how the fudge this canyon is called, and where exactly is it located?

Not sure what can be grayish-blue here — lavender?

Starting from the name. It's marked as just a "colorful canyon" in my tour's program. Only in one post inside Russian Livejournal I saw a suggestion that this is Sarydiirmen (Yellow Canyon). But even topographical maps don't feature such an object. The only archaeological map I saw features Sarydiirmen displays it quite far from our route. Oh well nevermind, I will call it this name.
I wasn't sure with geolocation too. I researched the road between Karadiirmen and Tuzbair, and the maps didn't feature anything close to the photos. Then I noticed a sight called Red Canyon. It mistakenly featured photos from Kyzylkup (which means "A Lot of Red"), which is quite far from it. My position is that this is Red Canyon, but I'm not sure still.
A lilac rock! What's interesting is that iron can give such a color (I'm skeptic about manganese laying here on the surface)

Hematite is usually red, but being enough dispersed, can give various colors, including purple

This cliff does have a purple tint too. It looks like ham due to this

One of the Mangistau features is that this region remains mainly an author's tours' place. This is why many objects' names remain unknown, and god bless if they're in a tour description.
This has its plus, of course, — you will have a unique experience! Still not many tourists visit Mangistau, though this number is rising.
