The nightmare for trypophobics and claustrophobics
For starters, wanna plov? Yummy plov. Or pilaf. How you name spiced rice with meat?
So, yeah. Ybykty is popular among locals due to its proximity to Aqtau. We saw about 20 of them resting & cooking here. The other spots are visited more by Russians, Indians, Italians and Japanese (specifically in Tuzbair, yep!), but here Kazakhs are proportionally bigger portion.
Although this canyon is a gem on the level of Tuzbair or Kyzylkup. It's, like, mesmerizing. At the entrance already are walls full of pores. These pores take so much space, in fact, it's rather veins on top of rock, resembling corals.
That's certainly a narrow valley. For two people to give way, they both need to lean on wall with a leg.
Further a roof is partially closing, forming those quirky windows.
It's cool inside. Feels like +17°C (+62.6°F) without any direct sunlight. And it also feels moist. So, good environment for lichens and moss.
Pigeons like this microclimate too! You can see their nests here.
